Assessment and Treatment of Shoulder Girdle Pain

Shoulder girdle pain is generally seen in the assessment of people with shoulder pain. However, this particular analysis can be used to prevent shoulder problems and, help improve activity levels. Again this is usually, but not uniquely undertaken with sports-people. It is a tool commonly used in this practise for developing good upper limb control in canoeists and kayakers and, is of some importance in the prevention and relief of shoulder impingement syndrome. Much like core stability testing, exercises for specific weaknesses are given to improve muscle balance.
