Does lower back pain affect your normal daily life?

Back pain is something many of us will get with at some point in our lives. There are generally two reasons for back pain; doing too much, or, doing too little. Excessive activity is relative, If you spend time behind a screen all week then dig the garden all weekend you will, likely, suffer. The best thing you can do is remain active and on your feet during the week; gym work, classes will also help. If the muscles in your legs and back are weak by endless hours of sitting they will not cope during a binge session in the garden, causing muscular tension and pain. Oddly, the problem is not dissimmilar at the other end; constantly working, mauling will cause muscles and joints to tire. Fatigue creates weakness which, as mentioned, creates tightness and strength issues. Osteopathy helps reduce muscular tension and relieve joint pain and stiffness.
